Nice one Mike. That photo of the photographer in Pretoria, South Africa is still one of my favourites.

Hello,
I am working for a German skate-surf-snow magazine and we are looking for a skate story.
As I watched the photographs of Mike O’Meally on your website I found a pic of Omar Hassan and we would like to publish a story about him.
I tried to contact Mike via mail, but couldn’t reach him. Do you have any idea how to get in contact with him, because we think that he has got more treasure pics of Omar!?
I you like I can send our mediakit so you can get a better impression of our magazine?
Hope to hear from you.
All the best from Hamburg,
Mirja

Great interview. I was at the opening for the show in NYC last June. It was a cool event, got to meet Mike and have a few PBR’s. His images stay in your mind forever. The skaters at ground zero 9/11, Omar at the bottom of the pool, the ramp on a boat, and on and on. Great stuff.
